The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political, Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi has called on Christians all over the world to show love to one another in commemoration of the birth of Christ.
Hon Jude Omena Ogbimi made this call yesterday while distributing 95 bags of rice and two big cows to his Ward constituents (Otibio ward 13) comprising of 5 communities under Otor-Igho.
Ogbimi said Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ who lived and died for our sins and also to show love to the less privileged around us.
He noted that Christmas is all about giving and making sacrifices, as Christ sacrificed for us.
He charged the people of the area to continue to live peacefully in love as peace was the only way out for development to come to any community.
The Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa through his SMART agenda has been able to achieve a peaceful and more vibrant state by bridging the gap between the leadership and the grassroots.
Let us share with one another in the spirit of the season and also shun acts that could lead to breakdown of law and order.
Furthermore, as we celebrate, let us remember that there is a reason for this season and hence we must learn to imbibe the principles taught by Christ for the salvation of mankind.
On behalf of family and good people of Isoko North, I wish you all a very happy Christmas celebration filled with love.
May the love, Joy and Happiness associated with Christmas fill our hearts always.
